DevOps Engineer
A senior infrastructure mission focused on automating, operating, and continuously improving a complex cloud platform in a regulated context. You will act as a technical reference for CI/CD, cloud, and automation while coaching teams to raise the DevOps bar.
CONTEXT
Our client, a major player in its sector, runs a platform landscape where complexity is the price of scale and regulation is the price of trust. Development teams move quickly, operational teams carry responsibility, and every new service must fit into an infrastructure that cannot afford avoidable fragility. The organization is looking for a senior infrastructure professional to act as a reference point for cloud platforms, CI/CD, automation, and operational discipline. This is not a role limited to maintaining pipelines; it is a mission to professionalize how infrastructure is designed, changed, monitored, and handed over. The engineer will support development and operations teams, bring structure to automation, and help colleagues grow through coaching and knowledge sharing. In a highly regulated environment, the best DevOps work is often invisible: repeatable deployments, predictable platforms, clear guardrails, and documentation that lets people move with confidence.
ACTIVITIES
- Manage, automate, and continuously improve cloud and platform infrastructures used by development and operational teams.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that make releases repeatable, observable, and secure.
- Act as a technical reference for infrastructure, cloud platforms, automation, and operational best practices.
- Support teams in diagnosing complex platform issues and turning recurring problems into durable automation or process improvements.
- Contribute to the professionalization of DevOps operations through standards, templates, runbooks, and guardrails.
- Coach and guide less experienced colleagues, review technical choices, and encourage knowledge sharing across teams.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and delivery stakeholders to ensure changes fit a regulated environment.
- Document architectures, operating procedures, and incident learnings so that knowledge remains accessible beyond individual experts.
EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Cloud and platform infrastructure becomes more automated, observable, and resilient.
- CI/CD pipelines reduce manual effort and make releases safer and more predictable.
- Development and operations teams gain a trusted technical reference who helps them move faster without accumulating hidden risk.
- Operational knowledge is shared more widely, reducing key-person dependencies and improving team autonomy.
- Platform changes are better documented, easier to audit, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
- The DevOps practice gains maturity through reusable patterns, coaching, and continuous improvement.
ENVIRONMENT
- Cloud platforms and platform engineering practices in a regulated enterprise context.
- CI/CD tooling, infrastructure as code, automation scripts, and configuration management.
- Monitoring, logging, and observability practices for distributed systems.
- Security, compliance, and change-management guardrails.
- Collaboration with development, operations, and architecture teams.
- Coaching, documentation, and knowledge-sharing practices.
