IAM Change Manager
This change mission will guide users and stakeholders through a major identity and access management transformation, from legacy IDM services to a new ISC platform. You will blend structured change methodology, communication and adoption support to make complex access journeys feel simple and secure.
CONTEXT
Our client, a major player in its sector, is transforming how identities and access rights are managed across a highly international, multicultural organisation. The migration from an existing IDM solution to ISC is more than a technical cutover: it changes the daily routines of employees, managers, security teams and access requesters. Behind every recertification campaign and access request sits a user who needs clarity, confidence and a reason to adopt the new way of working. The Change Manager will act as the human bridge between programme leadership, technical teams and the wider business, turning a dense IAM roadmap into a structured adoption journey.
ACTIVITIES
- Design and roll out a structured change management approach covering impact assessment, stakeholder mapping, communication planning and adoption tracking.
- Support the IDM-to-ISC migration by preparing users for new access journeys, recertification campaigns and access request processes.
- Lead change management activities across international teams and multicultural stakeholders, adapting messages to different audiences.
- Create communication materials, training support, FAQs and practical guidance that make IAM concepts understandable.
- Assess change impact and readiness, identify adoption risks and propose mitigation actions.
- Organise workshops, feedback loops and community moments to surface concerns early and build ownership.
- Report progress, adoption indicators and stakeholder feedback to programme leadership.
EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
The Change Manager will help the organisation move from a technically successful migration to a genuinely adopted new IAM model. Success will be visible in smoother access requests, better recertification completion, fewer support escalations and stronger user confidence in the new platform. The role will also leave behind reusable change practices and clearer communication patterns for future identity and security transformations.
ENVIRONMENT
The mission sits at the intersection of IAM, IDM/ISC migration, recertification, access request management, change management methodology, stakeholder communication and training support. It requires comfort in a highly international context with multicultural stakeholders, strong facilitation skills and the ability to translate technical security concepts into user-friendly messages. Tools and methods may include stakeholder maps, impact assessments, communication plans, training kits, adoption dashboards and structured change frameworks.
