IT Manager

A temporary IT leadership mission to advise local management, lead a small support team, and mature IT operations during an internalization phase. You will combine hands-on support stewardship with project delivery, asset management, and security oversight.

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is preparing a local IT organization for a new phase. A business unit based in Charleroi needs a trusted advisor who can sit close to local management, understand operational realities, and translate them into a coherent IT agenda. The mission is temporary, but its impact must last: the role exists to stabilize support, improve asset and security oversight, deliver local developments, and prepare the internalization of the position. That means the person in this seat must be comfortable with both hands-on IT stewardship and people-centered transition work. They will lead a small support unit, coordinate with central IT projects, and ensure that knowledge is transferred rather than trapped. This is a leadership mission for someone who enjoys making an environment clearer, calmer, and more capable before handing it over to its next owner.
