Platform Manager

Our client is building an internal developer platform that must become the backbone of a faster, more standardised software delivery model. You will own the vision, roadmap and adoption story, turning platform ambition into a product that teams trust and use every day.

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, has launched a strategic initiative to industrialise the complete software development life cycle through an enterprise Internal Developer Platform. The platform is intended to become a shared product for engineering teams: a place where standards, automation and an AI-driven development life cycle come together without slowing delivery down. This role is about product ownership at the platform level, shaping the vision, prioritising the roadmap and making sure the platform earns its place in the daily life of its users.

ACTIVITIES

  • Define the platform vision, roadmap and value proposition.
  • Prioritise the backlog in line with business goals, user needs and technical dependencies.
  • Coordinate delivery with platform teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead acceptance testing and ensure that features meet quality and usability expectations.
  • Engage customers, gather feedback and drive adoption across engineering communities.
  • Champion continuous improvement and a product mindset for the platform.
