SAP WM/EWM Consultant

This mission is to optimise SAP warehouse and extended warehouse processes for a critical public-utility environment spanning HR, finance, logistics and purchasing. You will translate operational needs into robust SAP configuration, testing and incident resolution over a two-year hybrid programme.

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is modernising the digital business solutions that keep essential operations running across finance, HR, logistics and purchasing. SAP WM and eWM sit at the heart of physical and transactional flows, where a small configuration decision can ripple through stock accuracy, purchasing cycles and service continuity. With a multi-year transformation underway, the organisation needs a senior functional analyst who can combine deep SAP knowledge with the patience to listen to operational teams and the discipline to test every change. This is a 24-month hybrid mission based in Brussels, designed for someone who enjoys turning complex warehouse processes into clear, reliable SAP solutions.

ACTIVITIES

  • Analyse, configure, develop, test and troubleshoot SAP WM/EWM processes in line with business requirements.
  • Optimise processes for HR, Finance, Logistics and Purchasing teams by understanding their operational constraints and translating them into SAP solutions.
  • Resolve incidents and support users, ensuring that warehouse and logistics flows remain reliable day to day.
  • Gather functional requirements, document specifications and maintain clear configuration and process documentation.
  • Design and execute test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing and validate changes before deployment.
  • Work with technical teams, key users and business stakeholders to prioritise enhancements and continuous improvements.
  • Provide functional guidance and training support so that users adopt new or updated SAP processes smoothly.

EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

The consultant will improve the stability and efficiency of SAP warehouse and logistics processes in a critical operational context. Success means fewer recurring incidents, clearer functional documentation, better tested changes and processes that genuinely fit the way teams work. Over the two-year mission, the role will help the organisation modernise its SAP WM/EWM landscape while preserving service continuity and user confidence.

ENVIRONMENT

The role involves SAP WM/EWM functional analysis, configuration, testing, incident management and process optimisation within a broader SAP digital business solutions landscape. It requires strong business analysis skills, documentation discipline and the ability to collaborate with HR, Finance, Logistics and Purchasing stakeholders. The mission is hybrid and based in Brussels, with a mix of on-site collaboration and remote work. Tools and practices include ticketing and incident management, test scenarios, functional specifications, key-user workshops and structured SAP support processes.
